LEGAL WORKSPACE (OUTLOOK ADD-IN) SERVICES AGREEMENT

1. Introduction
This Outlook Add-in Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between LEGAL WORKSPACE, a company registered in Piccadilly Business Centre, Aldow Enterprise Park, Manchester, United Kingdom, M12 6AE (“Provider”), and the user (“User”) for the use of the Legal Workspace Outlook Add-in (“Add-in”). By installing or using the Add-in, the User agrees to the terms outlined in this Agreement.
2. Scope of Services
The Add-in provides the following functionalities:

Upload and file emails and attachments directly into the Legal Workspace case management system (“CMS”).

Improve email and document organisation within legal case files.

Enhance workflow efficiency by integrating Outlook with the CMS.
3. Licence & Usage Restrictions

The Provider grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Add-in in accordance with this Agreement.

The User must not modify, reverse-engineer, distribute, sublicense, or resell the Add-in.

The Add-in must only be used for legal practice purposes and in compliance with UK laws and regulations.
4. Data Protection & Privacy

The Add-in processes data within the User’s legal case management system and does not store or transmit emails externally.

The Provider complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The User is responsible for ensuring compliance with client confidentiality obligations under the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Code of Conduct.
5. Support & Updates

The Provider may offer updates or modifications to improve functionality.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Add-in is provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

The Provider is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss, service interruptions, or system failures.

The total liability of the Provider under this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid for the Add-in (if any) in the preceding 12 months.
7. Termination

The Provider may terminate this Agreement if the User violates its terms or engages in unauthorised use of the Add-in.

The User may uninstall the Add-in at any time to terminate their use of the service.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
